Premium materials
Because our boats are used in the harshest environments, they are built with the strongest materials. Many builders choose to use 5052 aluminum alloy because it can cost up to 20% less. This is not the case with SeaEscapeMarine.com boats, we exclusively use 5086 H32 grade aluminum plates for all our boats as 5086 H32 is much stronger in the welded state and more durable. Even our custom hull strake extrusions are made from 5086 aluminum alloy.
All parts used to build the SeaEscapeMarine boats are Laser Cut We choose CNC Router or Laser cut parts over Waterjet or Plasma cut parts because a router provides a cleaner surface on the cut edge. Water or plasma machines often leave a very porous edge surface, which can lead to micro-voids in the welding process.
